I don't know if this is the right section or not, but since my birthday is coming up I am planning on getting a new TV. I have around a $400 dollar budget. Any suggestions? I am probably going to use it to play 360 and watch regular TV.

*Note this is for my bedroom, so it does not need to be massive

It really depends on the use to pick a TV. What do you plan to use it for, specifically? Do you plan to game, watch HD movies, or just casually watch cable programming?

I am going to play 360 and watch regular TV, but I need a new one because my current is total piece of crap!

I saw the update in the OP. Are you going to play your Xbox in SD or in HD? I'm most likely guessing HD, but I'd want to know so I could look for a TV with composite, component, or HDMI inputs.

Editing because I'm don't think I was very clear. Pick the cables you are going to use:

A) Composite (red, white, yellow)
B) Component (HD outputs)
C) HDMI

well my xbox is an older one so it does not have a HDMI output, but my AV cable has the HD plug ins

I have seen a few of those and they have great quality, but their prices are a bit high.

Take a look at this one. It's the Panasonic VIERA. It's a 32" 720p LCD TV. Best Buy has it at $400.
