I have jtag'd zephyrs before and i know they can be a pain in the a**, especially this one.
Anyways, it was on dash 6683, i updated it to 7371, dumped the nand and got 4 identical dumps. CB version is 4558 (exploitable).
Went ahead to put the zephyr Xell on to get CPU key and i get E79. So i back tracked and this time tried the Falcon Xell, E79 again. So thats pretty much where i am with this.
I have written the original Nand back and the xbox is running fine. If anyone knows something else i can try let me know. I have never had a Zephyr with an exploitable CB version until now, iv always had zephyrs with an unknown CB version and used the Falcon Xell without any issues.
Msg me on AIM if you can help (i am using the LPT cable method)

i had a problem when i jtagged mine, i know this seems obvious but when you flash xell you must have the original wiring method on. i had the transistor method and i had to put original on to get xell to work, then after you get your cpu key you can change to whatever wiring method you want as long as you change the smc accodringly in the freeBOOT you flash

edit:
so turns out that was my issue, i rewired it with the original jtag wiring and it booted Xell, i did however have Xell errors with tftp retying etc.. but i saw my fuse sets so i have my CPU key, created a freeboot image and am writing it right now, if all goes well itll boot up in about 40 mins when its done. thanks for the help with that.

k i can get into Xell now and get the CPU key from the fuse sets but now im unable to get the xbox to boot after creating a freeboot. the xbox wont even power on or anything when i use its nand and when i use a previous zephyr nand and swap the KV and CPU keys for this xbox, i am getting E79 now. Any suggestions? it's been a while since i last jtag'd an xbox so im a bit rusty now lol

i had the original wiring set up, Xell would not boot with out it, after that i created freeboot for the original wiring and the xbox wouldnt do anything at all, it was like it was unplugged. So i took an old freeboot off a previous zephyr from sometime last year, extracted the kv from this zephyr and imported it to the working freeboot, then took the CPU key from the fuse sets (i was getting an Xell error, tftp or something like that but i was able to see the fuse sets to get my cpu) anyways though, i patched the CPU key on the freeboot and wrote it onto the xbox (the freeboot was made for the aud_clamp wiring) with the original wiring i got E79 with power and eject buttons so i swapped the wiring to aud_clamp and still getting E79. so thats where im stuck now lol i might be doing something wrong but i cant recall what it would be
And im using Boxxdr Aud_clamp wiring, not the dvd tray method

when i jtagged my zephyr the other day i was having problems with aud_clamp. change the wiring to aud_clamp & dvd tray. and using your nand create a freeBOOT for that wiring method. for me this was the only way i could get the jtag to work. i assume your using jtag tool by coolshrimp right?

Do you have AIM? I can send you the nand dump and CPU key if you would be able to make me a freeboot for the aud_clamp wiring i have right now and one for the dvd tray aud_clamp incase that doesnt work. my problem might be with my freeboot skills lol.
