I am wondering this because I just flashed a unbanned KV to my jtag, but I did not relize that I had my ethernet cord plug into the back of it (for system link), so I am wondering if they start detecting it when I sign into xbl or do they detect it when the ethernet cord was plugged into the router?

When you connect to xbox live. Just hope the account your on doesn't have live on it

No the account did not have live on it was just like a default player1 account, so there was no notification that I signed onto xbl.

as soon as you go online it reads your on a old update... then the ban hammer slowly starts to come at you
