I joined TTG a year ago. I was active for a while, then took a break so to speak, but then just recently started being more active. Observing, not posting. TTG is changing. Not the site in it of it's self, not at all (Aside from some aesthetic changes here and there, and additions of new forums). It's the community.

Think about this, all you one year members; how many avatars did you notice had scarcely clothed girls in them months ago? How many had otherwise inappropriate images for 13 year olds in them? How many members did you see mini mod, or welcome new members with open arms?

Imagine the community as a family attending a viewing at a funeral. The new "generation" are the young teenagers who are texting and bored, while the sensible members are bawling their eyes out, having the thought of texting being the caboose on their thought train. What kind of image does that paint? It's not like the new members can't fathom personal values. Granted, they are 13 (Some even younger, I'm sure.) but that doesn't mean they can't project a sense of pride.

Also, with the recent influx of female members, how do you think avatars and banners depicting nude girls looks to them? We may not all like it, but we're all a family. A year ago we showed how awesome we were. How genuine we were. We are as dysfunctional as ever now. The appeal to new members is only mods. That's the problem. That's why our newest 13-year-old members are so degrading.
