OMG so i hear where going to get hit by a hurricane, this is IRELANDS FIRST HURRICANE IN HISTORY im so scared, im 16 years old and dont want anything bad to happen to me are my family are freinds, so im going to be praying during and before that we are all ok, they say we need to lock everything down like lose objects and to make sure are doors and windows are shut tight, we might have power cuts and floods threw out


PS. if i life threw this i will let ya'll know what it was like experienceing my first hurricane

Really im from northern ireland as well and i can assure you that this isnt gonna be that bad, all the media hype makes it worse. Its a storm not a hurricane (well not when it gets here) chances are youll be in bed out for the count

Which Is Nothing In USA we got hit by Hurricane Irene

It's not a hurricane. It's the remnants of a hurricane, stop getting so scared, its just a lot of low pressure from the hurricane that will be 40-60 mph winds and a little storm by the time it hits N.I or Scotland.

its gonna skim northern irelands coast, not rip through it, the winds are only getting to a max of 65 in coastal areas antrim and belfast prob get a gale, its scotland i feel sorry for theyre gettint the eye of the storm so to say

PS its due at about 2am so when you get up in the morning itll be a wee breeze
