Hey guys, this is random but how can I convince my mom to let me buy a HDPVR. First off, if anyone says just go buy it on your own, I'm not old enough to drive yet and my brothers in college. Also, I have enough money and it's sold instores near us. It's just the use of it and the fact that it's $200 makes it hard to explain. Considering what I just said, what should I say to convince her? Thanks in advance.

Works for me every time. Remind her of promises she never kept, or things she said she'd buy but didn't. It sounds immature but if your desperate to get a PVR then its necessary.

If you have the money be a big boy and walk/take the bus. If you really want it then get it. Don't expect mom to do everything for you.
