I see posts like: "Which capture card is the best?" a lot so I decided to make an informative thread about the two main capture cards and their features.
The Dazzle is a capture card that records in Standard Definition or "SD". The title of the product can be misleading because it says "HD" or High Definition. I have previously owned a Dazzle and I can tell you your quality will look like this:
In my opinion a Dazzle is a great capture card for people who are just starting out and it is a reasonable price for what you get.
Dazzle Video Creator Plus HD: $89.99*
Contents:
1 x Dazzle Video Creator
1 x Pinnacle Studio Installation Disc
1 x USB Cable (attached to Dazzle)
User Manuals
System Requirements:
A Hauppauge HDPVR can be used to record crystal clear video in stunning HD. If you want to have quality like FaZe or Optic you will want to buy this. It may be a bit over priced but it is worth it. You will get credited on your quality and your videos will be all around better.
An example of a PVR's quality:
Price of Hauppauge HDPVR: $199.00*
Contents:
1 x HDPVR
1 x Total Media Extreme and Driver Installation Disc
1 x Remote Control (batteries included)
1 x IR Blaster
1 x Component Cable Set (1 meter)
1 x Audio Cable Set
1 x USB Cable
1 x 5v 2 Amp (power supply)
User Manuals
Recommended PC Requirements:
Note: when playing back video recordings made with the HD PVR, a fast CPU and at least 256MB of graphics memory are needed.
TV Set Requirements:
HD PVR has passthrough to any HD TV set or monitor which has a component video input. Component video is also called YPrPb.
I hope this thread is helpful to anyone wishing to buy a capture card. Any changes or things I should add, please let me know.

If you tweak the settings correctly and with a little bit of editting an easycap can come out in decent quality, just of the hd pvr mark may i add.
