Hey guys i just got a jtag and im kinda afriad to mess with it. He wants to do some spilt screen mods on mw2 and he added a patch and everything. But when i runs default_mp.xex and he goeson spilt screen it simple has a regular game. No mods. My friend said i might need freeboot/tu6 or tu7. I dont wanna take risk so please serious people only.

What do you mean by patch and everything? Did you have a modified xex for whatever TU you are running on(TU6 had the best mods). Just dumping a patch_mp.ff into your game folder will not work without the rest of the files. (TU7 has some mods working, but nothing compared to TU6). Good luck. There are tons of posts on this forum that can guide you in the right direction. Being Gold doesn't hurt either!

What patch are you talking about? Like a patch_mp.ff?

What you need is TU6, the patch and a TU6 default_mp.xex with the checks removed and maybe a new common_mp.ff? Not sure about the common but it should work with tu6 and the default_mp.xex. If not add the modded common! PM me if you need more help..

Do i need a new verison of freeboot? Cause i have 9199 dash and im not sure if i need a new one. if i do wouldnt it be 12611?
