no because...:
1.) people in jail cost tax payers money.
2.) death penalty should only be for people who are caught RED HANDED at killing/murdering somebody!!
3.) also for people who rape and kill little boys and girls. (the proof of that would obviously be semin found in or on the victiim)
4.) people who murder but arnt caught red handed or where there is not enough evidence that they are the killer should not be put on the death penalty.
Because then its his/her word over there word.
but i think the death penalty should only be for certain cases.
thats just my opinion.

No, i think every state must have it, if a murderer kills 40 people he gets to live in a cell for ever and the family suffers, no way
