I am creating a paintball thread for TTG because a lot of people are looking to paintball or love to do it.
So please post your first experiance or a time that really made you love paintball. If you have stuff post it, and leave a brief description of what it is that you have
I'll start.
My first experiance paintballing was amazing, I knew it was gonna hurt but I didn't let it stop me I actually moved smart and played smart. I hit a few people and got hit a few times. But for me the time that really put me into paintballing was my first clutch, I was playing with friends and they all had there own guns I was still renting at this point and we were playing elimination. All my friends were out and I had not idea were anyone was figuring there was a couple people left I decided to move up a little and look around, first thing I ended up seeing were three enemies and took out two luckily (rentals don't have good aim) and then the last one jumped behind cover I was shooting at the cover and decided it's pointless I'm gonna move up I did got him to think he had me pinned in the other cover and he walked up to mercy me but I got him out of suprise then I moved into there start point and there was one other noobie who I just yelled if you come out I won't shoot you and he left and that was game my first ever clutch
Now another moment that will be quick was my first ever scenario game
I played in my first ever scenario game and it is a lot different then a normal game anyone who hasn't gone just go it's so worth it and your entire team is usually nice to you I made a few friends there that I have paintballed with a few times after that. Overall totally worth the extra money
Quick montage made by friend
F.A.Q. (I get about paintball)
Does it hurt?
I don't know why this is the most asked question I get, but the answer is yes it does at first but after a couple of years no it does not. I have played for three years and I barely feel anything over 20 feet away.
What gun should I get?
Well I have a low budget so I'm playing with low end guns if your like me and have a $200 limit the best gun for you in my opinion is the Azodin Blitz which is what I use but another great gun is a Tippmann 98 custom that gun can literally shoot under water without breaking. It depends do you like to shoot fast or take aim; if you shoot fast Azodin but if you like to take aim go with Tippmann. Now if you have budgets around $2000 go with an ego 11 or invert mini for shooting fast I have never owned either but used both and they are both amazing guns. for people who want to shoot far get a Tiberius they use special rounds that are expensive but go over 100 more feet and you can also get normal rounds for up close by the turn of the barrel.
Hpa or Co2?
This depends on were you play I personally play in my friends back yard more and the co2 does just fine and adds a little more power. If you have an expensive gun you may need Hpa or if you play on local fields because it becomes cheaper to play. Also Hpa is cleaner for the gun so you may prefer it for a longer life with your gun parts. In the end neither is perfect or overall better.
Electronic hopper or stay gravity?
I use electronic because if I don't balls will break within my gun. Most guns will either have a stopper that disallows people to shoot when a ball is dropping or the guns trigger just can't pull that fast. What my old Spyder did was it would stop pushing the bolt half way through so it wouldn't break the ball. My Azodin does have eyes which I don't personally use because I don't like it's glitches. If your shooting slow stay gravity electronic are a waste of money because that ball will drop before the next shot if you shoot slowly.
Any other questions just post in comments. Would you like your gun posted private message me the link with brief description.
Now finally my gear
I have the azodin blitz normal barrel 12 oz co2
for clothing I have a blue jt jeresey with normal helmet and splat gear gloves and looking into blue invert pants
Pictures not mine but what I have
