you have most likely turned notifications off

check to see if your notifications are turned off
if its not turned off your temp banned from messaging

You may have Notifications off.

It happens somethimes that's all

im having the same problem its probably not a ban of any sort b/c evrybody on my xbox is having the problem

Just like to confirm , it had nothing to do with notification's or any type of settings.

After spending 1 hr on the phone to xbox support, microsoft are suffering a major bug in the system.

As if you type into google my situation, plenty of users are dealing with the same scenario.

However, old mate "Greg" from xbox live (lol) was able to fix it for us.

Happened to me it was also happening on Wednesday i think i had like 115 when i logged out and back in (hosting CoD4 )

it is a glitch happens all the time too me
