Chapter 1: Taking apart the fat xbox to hotswap !
Tool's needed
Torque 8 screw's
Torque 10 screw's (Get them at home depot or wallmart or your local store)

Part 1: Put your xbox on it's side so the disk tray is up top, then Take off your hard drive by clicking the button on the top of the xbox

Part 2: Take off your face plate, Do this by putting your fingers at the end of where your hard drive used to be (above the disk tray) and putting your fingers downwards whilst applying pressure, the faceplat will come off.

Part 3:Now you have taken your faceplate off, you need to take the silvery grills off, you can do this by just putting your fingers underneathe it and pulling upwards

Part 4:Now you have the top silvery grill of we need to take the bottom one off, do this by putting your screwdriver in between it and the console and just slipping it of

Part 5:Now you need to un-clip the three clip's on the front of your xbox, i will show you a photo as this is hard to explain:

All you have to do is put your finger's/screw driver underneath the clip and push up

Part 5:Now you have the clips up, turn your xbox over so the bottom of the console is facing the ceiling, now all you have to do, is take the part that you have un-clipped and pull it backward's, it may sound like it is breaking but it is not.

Part 6: Taking off the screw's holding your xbox in place, For this you will need your T8 and you only want to take off the shiny screw's ! ( I recommend putting the screw's in a cup or dish or whatever so you don't lose them

The ring's are around the screw's you have to take off.

Part 7: Know what you wanna do is turn the xbox to it's front and just pull the eject button off, and then turn the xbox so the top is facing the roof, and just take the top and pull upward's and it will just come off.

Part 8: Know you can just pop your front button off (it will take a bit of force, but dont snap it).

Know we are at the point of chapter 2, where we can start the hotswapping tutorial, if you are here without any major mistake's then your doing great.

Chapter 2: Preparing to hotswap the fat xbox

Know i will have another video from KoSlobbies as his tutorial's are beast, so again please sub to his Youtube [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Tool's needed:
Phillip's screwdriver
Something with a tiny head, such as sharp knife a small screwdriver head etc.

Please if you are only watching the video, stop at 4:50 and refer to Part 10 of the Text Tut

Text TuT:

Part 1: First make sure you have got your fat xbox taken apart !

Part 2: start lifting out the disk drive from the console, and you will see 2 wire's, - - A thick black one, which is Power supply
- A multi coloured one, which is disk reading

What you want to do is just wriggle the cable's out of the disk drive and pull them out

Part 3: take your disk drive and turn it over, there will be four long plastic bit's of plastic, do not touch these !, But next to them are four screws take your Phillips screw driver and un-screw them (again i will mention putting these in a cup or dish or whatever)

Part 4: Know with your screw's un-done you can grab the top of your disk drive and lift upward's, bringing the case of your disk drive off.

Part 5: Know on your disk drive case that you have taken of, you will see a sticker, peel this most of the way off, until you can see on the inside a round black thing and on the outside a small grey magnet, what you wanna do is grab something with a tiny head, and on the magnet you will see small holes, put your head in there and whilst holding the black piece still, spin the magnet counter-clockwise

Part 6: Know you can grab your small grey magnet and your black piece and then put your sticker back in place.

part 7: Know what you can do is Place the magnet back against the black thing and this time put your small headed object in and spin clockwise so the magnet is stuck against it again.

Part 8: Know you can place the magnet which is ontop of the black thing back where it used to but with out the case (on top of the small black object that keeps disks in place whilst spinning)

part 9: Know put what you have left of the disk tray back on your console, and connect up the wires to the disk tray again

part 10: connect wire's up to your xbox and tv, and whilst your xbox is of take of your magnet for a second and put WaW in and place the magnet back on. Now you cant turn your xbox on, by pressing where the power button used to be. Now if you were watching the video stop at 4:50 because the way he hotswap's it patched. Please go onto chapter 5.

Chapter 4: Taking apart the new xbox slim

To get into the Xbox 360 youll need pretty much the same
tools you needed to get into the old one.
-A flat head screwdriver helps, Getting those annoying bit's
-Torx T8
-Phillip's
-Butter knife

Part 1: Turn your xbox on it's side so that the disk drive button is closest to the ceiling, then slip your butter knife in between the black grate's at an angle, and it should just pop up, (Dont worry, it is very stretchy !

Part 2: underneath the part you have taken off you will notice a black piece of plastic, just pull it off with your fingers; if this is your first time taking it off, then it will be very difficult to take off ! (also dont worry about the small part's snapping off, they do not matter !)

Part 3:You will see a chip held in place by a screw, this is your wifi chip, which you do not want to break, so just unscrew,the screw holding it in place and take your wifi chip out and put it somewhere safe

Part 4: Now you will see a chrome bar going around all of the outside of the console, All this chrome bar is held on by is clips, just go around with your butter knife and flick the clip's whilst pulling the chrome bar upward's, once you have done all the clip's the chrome bar will just come of.

Part 5: Now you can turn your xbox over so your hard drive side of the xbox is facing the ceiling, you will notice a small part of the grill's you can pull back, do this and the part of the black grill's concealing your hard drive will come off, then pull on the string holding your hard drive in place, my hard drive was stiff to take out the first time, but it get's better.

Part 6: Now what you want to do is take the rest of the black grill's off with your hand (again it is very stretchy) and then you will see another black long plastic plate like the other side, it will take loads of force, but after alot of pulling and man power, it will come off, I do not like the video at this part very much, as he has done it before and it look's easy. ( At this part, you will hear alot of clicking, dont worry it is small part's of un-needed plastic holding the black part on)

Part 7: again on this side there is a chrome bar, you can just take the clip's out again with your butter knife, On this chrome bar, i dont know if it differ's between console's but mine only has 2 clips on the chrome bar which are opposite the hard drive, so mine is easy to take off

Part 8: now you can turn your console over again to the side where the wifi was, Look carefully and you will see next to the usb port that there are 2 clip's holding this side of the console case on, put your butter knife underneath the clips again, but this time when you put it into one, apply pressure outward's so it doesn't slide back into place, then get the other one, once you have both undone place the clips on the outside of the console so you dont have to hold your xbox apart

Part 9: now turn your xbox over, if you look carefully between the hard drive socket and the console you will be able to see one clip, slide your butter knife in and flick it off, and make sure you hold the console firm and apply pressure outward's,now whilst holding your xbox firmly and making sure your clip does not slide into place, you will notice a sticker, in-between power supply and AV input, peel this off, and take your knife and in the middle of where you peeled your sticker off, apply ALOT of pressure downward's with a knife, you will hear a loud crack and the top of you xbox case will almost be off !

part 10: Now you need to un-screw the 5 black screws around the console,you will also notice a sticker saying "Xbox 360" on it, peel this off and it will revealy your final screw, Just unscrew all the black screw's around the console EXCEPT FROM THE ONES IN THE VERY NOTICABLE SQUARE

part 11: Once you have un-screwed the screws turn your xbox and pull the back of the case (nearest the power supply) upward's NOT WITH TO MUCH FORCE because the front of your xbox, is easily damaged, as the power button and the eject are powered and held on by the clips from the base, which we are taking away, so there is small thin wire and what ever you are going to rest it on holding it up.

Part 12: Now you are lifting the back of the case with slight pressure, slowly pull the case backwards and hold the front panel against your xbox, the case now should be fully off. now we can get to the disk drive.

Part 13: Now the xbox is fully stripped, we can get to the disk drive, Grab the disk drive and pull it up, and you will notice 2 wires holding it against the motherboard of your console, unplug these from your dvd drive pull it up, now it should be full dis-connected from your console.

Part 14: now you want to take the rubber of your disk drive, and peel the sticker's off. it should look like this

Part 15: Peel the sticker then turn the drive over and there will be four screw', unscrew these with your phillip's , and now we can take the drive top off.

Part 16: To take the drive top off, pull the top of the drive upward's and when it slides up, pull it back, and the top will just slide off, now you can connect your drive back up to your console. With the part off dvd drive you have off, you will notice a cicular silver "thing", just put your knife underneath it and push and it will pop up !; then take your magnet out and pop the silver "thing" back on the top of your dvd drive shell.

Part 17: Put WaW in your disk drive and pop the magnet on top, Wire up your console and your ready to hotswap.

Chapter 5: Hot Swapping the new xbox 360

So you have taken apart your xbox and want to hotswap, well this is very easy, but i warn you dont be scared bcause the spinning disk will not harm you !

Tool's required:
-USB
-ISO
-WaW
-Commen Sense

Part 1: Turn on your xbox you are using, Make sure Auto-Run is disabled, then insert your USB and then configure it (under system settings/Memory/Unknown Device)

Part 2: Put WaW AND THEN MAGNET ON TOP in to your disk drive, you can open your disk drive to do this. (make sure if you put a disk in that you put the magnet on top)

Part 3: Go to game detail's and then click install game.

part 4: it will start to read it and then ask you where you want to install the game

Part 5: Grab your Iso and place it next to your xbox, Put 1 finger under your WaW disk and one fingure on top.

Part 6: In rapid motion take out your WaW disk and swap it for your Iso (REMEMBERING THE MAGNET ON THE ISO

part 7: Click hardrive, wait for it to install and now you have officially ISO modded
waw and can play your retail game with the mods on your hardrive !
