Hey well there are no guides for Call of the Dead so I thought I could make one to help out.

Hope It helps and leave some feedback.

Also If there is something I missed or you think I should add Pm me or post below.

Map Background and Extra Information:

Call of the Dead is the first Zombie Map in Call of Duty Black Ops since "Five" that has you playing as different characters. The characters are real life actors which have been in some horror movie or TV show in their career. The actors are:

Danny Trejo (Predators, Halloween)
Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy, The Grudge)
Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street)
Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead)
This map is located near an old World War II Ship Wreck and Lighthouse in Siberia, near Tunguska presumably. Famous Zombie Director George Romero says he did research for a WWII film and found out about a bunch of Nazi experiments, similar to the other maps. Most of that stuff happened in this area.

Since the map is in the arctic, there is a lot of ice and frozen water. The map alters from foggy to clear every few minutes. Do not stay in the icy water for too long or your screen will ice up and your character will freeze in the water. If you become frozen, you won't be able to move until you are hit. It takes roughly 20 seconds to completely freeze over.

Along with Zombies, George Romero is a special enemy from the start of the match. He wields a light on a stick which he uses like an electrified hammer. If you shoot him or get too close to him, he goes crazy and runs at you with his hammer-like weapon. The hammer-like weapon can down you if it hits you a few times, but it can also slow you down if it hits near you, because of the electricity that runs through the ground. The electricity acts like the electricity from the Wunderwaffe. Zombies can become electrified from George's weapon. If you melee the Zombies that are electrified, they will shock you and slow you down for a second. If George Romero goes crazy, lead him to some icy water. The icy water will calm him down and make him move slow again. He moves about as fast as a crawler. George Romero also has the power to make Zombies run at top speed. He will raise his weapon in the air and yell. This will cause Zombies to sprint at you.

It is possible to kill George Romero, but it takes a massive amount of damage to do it. George Romero's health is multiplied by the number of players in the match. Use all the Pack-A-Punch weapons you can to take him down. If you kill him, he will drop a Death Machine Power-Up and Perk-A-Cola Power-Ups. If you complete the Stand-in Achievement / Trophy, he will also drop a Wunderwaffe Power-Up which looks exactly like the Death Machine Power-Up. You can get rid of George for a bit without killing him, too. All you have to do is shoot him two or three times with a Pack-A-Punched V-R11 while he's in the icy water in the main area. He will disappear for a round or two. If you make him disappear without killing him, he will not drop anything, nor will you earn an achievement/trophy.

With the exception of George Romero, there are only Zombies in Call of the Dead. No Hell Hounds, Space Monkeys, or Creepy Crawlers can be found. They will come through barriers on the map like usual, but they can also spawn from just about any location on the map. Zombies will pop out of the ground and roof of various areas around the map - stay on your toes.

Mystery Box

The Mystery Box randomly spawns in one of a couple set locations on the map. After a few turns with the box, it will spawn in a new location. You can look up in the sky to see a blue light and the location of the box. You may need to wait until the weather turns dark. Two new weapons are added to the Mystery Box in Call of the Dead. The first is the Scavenger Rifle. The Scavenger is a bolt action sniper rifle which fires explosive rounds. The explosive rounds will stick to any surface and explode on a delay, similar to the crossbow. The second weapon is the V-R11. The V-R11 fires green energy, similar to the ray gun. It has the ability to turn a zombie back into a human. The human will then run off and be chased by zombies, similar to the monkey bomb or pack-a-punched crossbow.

Ray Gun
Matryoshka Doll
V-R11
Scavenger
Perk-A-Colas

Like many other Zombie Maps, you need to turn on the power to use the Perk-A-Colas. All the older Perk-A-Colas are back in this map with a brand new Perk-A-Cola called Deadshot Daiquiri. This perk gives you a few new abilities. The first is smaller crosshairs, similar to steady aim. You are also given auto aim which locks onto enemies in your line of sight when you aim, similar to the auto aim in the campaign. The last ability is no sway what so ever when using sniper rifles.

Quick Revive
PhD Flopper
Stamin-Up
Deadshot Daiquiri
Jugger-Nog
Double Tap Root Beer
Speed Cola
Pack-A-Punch

The Power also activates the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse will shine it's light on one of three rocks around the map every few minutes. This will bring up the Pack-A-Punch Machine for use. Lightning will sound when the Lighthouse is about to light up a Pack-A-Punch machine. Upgrade your weapon before the machine turns back into a rock.

Power-Ups

The unique Power-Ups for this map include:

Death Machine
Fire Sale
Perk-A-Cola
Wunderwaffe
For a list of Power-Ups that show up on every map, view the Power-Ups page.

Weapons

M14
Olympia
MPL
PM63
MP40
Stakeout
MP5K
M16
AK74u
Sickle
Claymores
Semtex

Traps and Devices

New transport devices are set up around the map, the Zipline and the Catapult. There are two Ziplines on the map. You must open the area at the start and end of the Zipline to use it. Once both ends are open, all you have to do is jump onto the Zipline to slide down. Zombies and George Romero can also use the Zipline without any trouble. There's a Zipline from the ship to the starting area and a Zipline from the Lighthouse to the back of the ship. The Catapult's areas must be opened first, too, but you must also turn on the power before you can use it. Once it's activated, step on the Catapult until it launches you - and any zombies - from the ship wreck to the lighthouse.

Heres How to turn on the power and find the Mystery Box:

Here is how to pack a punch:

Easter Eggs (Including Music):

Musical Easter Egg

Another Musical Easter Egg. Find three meteorites hidden throughout the map.

One is around the starting area.
One is in the room with the PhD Flopper.
One is in the first room on the ship, several floors under the Power Room.
Activate them by pressing X (Xbox 360), Square (PS3), or F (PC). The song is called "Not Ready to Die" by Avenged Sevenfold.

Radios

There are several Radios hidden throughout the Zombie map "Call of the Dead." Each radio has their own message that's part of the Zombie storyline. I placed all these messages in Chronological Order. To activate the message, press the activate button: X (Xbox 360), Square (PS3), F (PC). The locations are:

Next to the Stamin-Up
At the top of the Lighthouse
Under the steel walkways near the PM63 and icy water
Near the Double Tap Rootbeer
On a rock in the icy water after the Speed Cola ice slide.

Stand In Easter Egg:

This is a really long achievement to get, but you will be awarded an achievement / trophy for your efforts. This particular Easter Egg is done on Solo. If you complete Ensemble Cast, you will earn the achievement / trophy for Stand-in. Each step listed will have short pauses between for dialogue between your character and the old zombie cast. You will need the V-R11 to complete this Easter Egg.

To start, you must turn on the power and head to the building next to the lighthouse. Inside the building is a metal door on the bottom floor. Stand close enough to hear the old characters from the previous zombie maps talk. They will say they're trapped and you need to help them.

Grab a fuse on the next floor of the building. It may move around from game to game. You can find it on the floor, near a filing cabinet, on the table, or other places. Take it back downstairs and place it in a panel to the right of the door.

A few generators with red lights will activate next to you and around the map. Blow up all four to complete this step. I well timed frag grenade is the easiest method, in my opinion. Make it blow up right above the red light. One is right next to the door, another is behind the house that has the Stamin-Up, another is in the icy water on the bottom floor of the ship wreck (near the PM-63 and Jugger-Nog), and the last is way down in the icy water near the Double Tap Rootbeer.

The next step requires you to go to the ship where you turn on the power. Move the Helm (Ship's Steering Wheel) two turns clockwise. After that, look for three levers to the right of the wheel. Think of the levers in this order 1-2-3. Pull the first lever once and the third lever three times. Remember, the activate button is X (Xbox 360), Square (PS3), or F (PC).

After that, you'll need the V-R11 from the Mystery Box. Shoot a zombie to turn it into a human. The human will run into the lighthough and up the green light. Follow and kill it before it reaches the top of the green light. The gold handle / Vril Device will float down the green light. Grab it and return to the door where the Easter Egg started.

Place the handle / Vril Device into the tube on the left side of the door. Wait for a bit of dialogue, then melee the fuse to end the Easter Egg.

Ensemble Cast Easter Egg:

Ensemble Cast is the co-op version of Stand-in. It requires at least two players, but can be done with four. Once completed, you will earn an achievement / trophy. If you haven't completed Stand-in, you will unlock that achievement / trophy as well. Some of the steps are similar to Stand-in, but some steps are new and require two players.

This third step requires two players. A bottle of Vodka that's covered in ice will spawn someplace on the map. One player must knife the Vodka while the other player catches it by pressing the activate button. Remember, the activate button is X (Xbox 360), Square (PS3), or F (PC). If one of the players doesn't catch the bottle, it will hit the floor and break. A new bottle will show up in a new location. The bottles are always on rails near two floor areas. Areas I've seen include:

The rail on the stairs outside the building with the trapped characters.
The rail between the two halves of the ship
The rail on the second floor of the ship, above the MPL and below the Power Switch.
The player who catches the bottle must take it to the steel door and insert it into a tube to the left of the door.

The fourth step is probably the toughest. You must head to the lighthouse and turn four dials to read 2746 from top to bottom. This is tough because once you turn one dial, another dial may turn at the same time. The colors from top to bottom are Yellow, Orange, Blue, and Purple. So the numbers and colors will be 2 (Y), 7 (O), 4 (B), and 6 (P). Turn the dials in the following order to get them all set right:

Turn the Yellow dial to 2.
Turn the Blue dial until the Orange dial is set to 7. It worked when Blue was 5 for us.
Turn the Purple dial to 6. That was all we needed to do, but some people say you need to turn the other dials a bit more.
Turn the Orange dial until Blue dial is set to 4.
Turn the Yellow dial to 2.

The fifth step is relatively easy, but can be frustrating if you don't keep an ear out. You must activate four radios set throughout the map. The radios must be activated in a SPECIFIC order. If they are activated in the wrong order, a sound similar to the Mystery Box leaving will play. If you hear that sound, start over from the beginning! The radios should be activated in the following order and are located in the following place:

On top of a cabinet in the room next to the M16. This room is one floor under the Power Switch.

On top of a steel barrel inside the Stamin-Up house.

Inside of a big steel crate that looks like a train car, near the Semtex on the second half of the ship. If you look inside these crates, you'll see some sort of devices used to hold people.

On top of a cabinet near the steel door where the Easter *Egg started out. The cabinet is under the stairs.

The sixth step requires you to go to the ship where you turn on the power. Move the Helm (Ship's Steering Wheel) two turns clockwise. After that, look for three levers to the right of the wheel. Think of the levers in this order 1-2-3. Pull the first lever once and the third lever three times.

For the seventh step, you must find four foghorns around the lighthouse. The foghorns look like little lawn lamps. Activate them in a specific order to bring a submarine and continue on. The correct order and locations are like so:

Next to the small icy pool of water.

In the icy water after the ice slide near Speed Cola.

A bit to the left of the lighthouse door.

Next to the boulder after the ice slide near Speed Cola.

For the eight step, you'll need the V-R11 from the Mystery Box. Shoot a zombie to turn it into a human. The human will run into the lighthough and up the green light. Follow and kill it before it reaches the top of the green light. He can take a lot of damage, so get a Ray Gun or LMG. The gold handle / Vril Device will float down the green light. Grab it and return to the door where the Easter Egg started.

Place the handle / Vril Device into the tube on the left side of the door. Wait for a bit of dialogue, then melee the fuse to end the Easter Egg.

The hammer-like weapon can down you if it hits you a few times, but it can also slow you down if it hits near you, because of the electricity that runs through the ground. The electricity acts like the electricity from the Wunderwaffe. Zombies can become electrified from George's weapon. Use all the Pack-A-Punch weapons you can to take him down. If you kill him, he will drop a Death Machine Power-Up and Perk-A-Cola Power-Ups. If you complete the easter egg with the original cast, he will also drop a Wunderwaffe Power-Up which looks exactly like the Death Machine Power-Up.

Perk Locations:

Juggernog- This is quite a difficult perk to find as CotD is suck a big map, so what you have to do is to clear the debris that leads to the ship, once you are on the ship, walk straight ahead and turn left, there should be some stairs leading down then up, once you've walked across these, clear the debris and jump down. Once you've jumped down, walk in the left direction then turn right, there should be a door you can open it, open it then walk down and follow the "hallway" open all the doors ahead of you and Juggernog should be right ahead

Quick Revive - This is the simplest perk to find, once yo've spawned, tread the water onto the small little "island" behind where George Romero spawns at first, it should be there

Speed Cola - This is a complicated perk to find and is also quite fun in the process! what you do is clear the debris that leads to the lighthouse, make your way to the lighthouse and open the door, walk downstairs and open the door which looks like it doesn't lead outside (one of them has light shining into it, do not open this door) once you've opened the right door, walk in then turn right, walk into the area and you should slide down the slide, once you've finished the slide, the speed cola will be on your right.

Double tap - This is quite a hard perk to find, all you have to do is clear the debris that leads to the ship, once on the stairs to the ship, walk up them and turn right, there should be debris to clear, so clear it and walk up the little ledge, walk around the building to the tip of the ship and it should be there.

Stamin Up - This almost the same as speed cola, all you have to do is clear the debris which leads to the lighthouse, make your way to the lighthouse, open the door and walk downstairs, open the same door as speed cola, (the one that doesn't lead outside) except do not slide down the slide, walk straight on into the water, tread the water (jump around) until you reach the small house, the perk should be right ahead in the doorway.

PHD Flopper - This is also a simple perk to find, clear the debris which leads to the light house, make your way towards it, but don't go into it, walk past the stairs and walk down the stairs which lead to the door where the old characters are, but instead of walking down to that door, walk across and the perk should be in front of you.

Deadshot Daiquiri - This is quite a simple perk to find, all you have to do is clear the debris which takes you to the lighthouse, make your way to the lighthouse and open the door to it, make your way upstairs and walk outside, turn right and the perk should be there.
