I believe first person shooters shouldent have snipersPosted:

The reason I believe this is because all snipers do these days is sit in the trees or hiding spots and snipe people its really no skill at all. The snipers that actauly move around and kill while there not hiding are good snipers first person shooters should make lobbys for only snipers and lobbys for assault. For an example I was playing mw2 yester day and I got sniped I looked at the kill cam and it was someone laying down in one place the whole game. For another example I was playing BF3 beta I spawned (Not On Other People)
and as soon as I spawed I died from a sniper just laying somewhere where I couldent see them (The game isnt fun if you cant get any kills because almost all sniper do is hide and you cant find them). Imagine there were all snipers and no one would actaully be moving around like a good sniper would do and everyone is hiding NO ONE WOULD GET ANY KILLS

SO WHATS YOUR OPINION????

That's what Snipers actually do, do you think the People currently deployed oversees try and run up to the Taliban and try to kill them that way?
No, they stay there for a while and lye down then shoot them.. A Game should be no different.. even though its a game..

Probably should be in the rant section. Do I agree? Absolutely not. Without snipers, there isn't the serenity that FPS's would hold, as they keep the game balanced in a sense.

That's when you take charge and pull out a Sniper Class to kill them..

people can do the same thing with assault rifles so it doesnt really matter

Im no gonna lie I use snipes sometimes but it just gets annoying when you get sniped by someone laying in the bushes its basiclly camping

I personally dont like them because i like to rush, and they like too sit.

Not really camping when your sniping, more of a tactic.

However, i have talked about it with some friends that agree maybe there should be specific playlist that exclude snipers, or one thats only snipers.

Well isn't that what a sniper is for? I agree with Halo.

And Snipers aren't overpowered. In real life if you get shot with a sniper rifle guess what happens. You die.
