Method I
~This method makes likely no cash but fast exp
Please note: This is how I got to 99 Woodcutting. (For Ivy's I did Option 2)
1-15 Normal tree

Location: Anywhere
Exp per log: 25
Number of logs to cut till level 15: 97
Requirement(s):A hatchet either equip or in inventory.
Recommended to: Drop these logs they don't worth much but you can also either light it or flecth it to get some other skills exp.
Profit: 5,917
15-30 Oak tree

Location: Behind lumbridge castle
Exp per log: 37.5
Number of logs to cut till level 30: 293
Requirement(s):A hatchet either equip or in inventory.
Recommended to: Drop these logs they don't worth much but you can also either light it or flecth it to get some other skills exp.
Profit: 20,803
30-70 (P2P) or 30-99 (F2P) Willow tree

(Option 1) 70-99 or (Option 2) 70-91 Choking Ivy's

Location: Varrock Palace, north side near yews and southeast near Tree farming patch, Falador, outside north wall and outside south wall ,Taverley (southeast), East Ardougne (outside east wall of church), Yanille (outside north wall), and Castle Wars, outside south wall
Exp per vine: 332.5
Option 1: Number of vines to chop down till level 99: 36,983
Option 2: Number of vines to chop down till level 91: 15,535
Requirement(s): A hatchet either equip or in inventory.
Rocemmended to: Get a Dragon hatchet, Inferno adze, or a Scared clay hatchet (x2 the exp) also where lumberjack suit of you can and strung rabbit foot for better chance of getting bird nest.
Profit: 0 (Unless you get bird nest which you probaly will I made about 400k out of them)
Option 2: 91-99 Sawmill training large jobs

Location: Sawmill Northeast of east bank in varrock
Exp per 1 job: Varies
Number of jobs to do till lvl 99: Varies
Requirement: A saw
Recommended to: Use a crystal saw it works faster and gives double the exp that a normal saw does.
Profit: 0
Total of time that will take for Method I: About 2-3 Months
Method II
~This method makes a lot of cash but very slow exp
(Option 1)60-99 or (Option 2)60-75
(Option 1) 60-99 Yews

Exp per log: 175
Number of logs to cut till lvl 99: 72,919
Requirement: A hatchet either equip or in inventory
Recommended to: Use a Dragon hatchet and wear full lumberjack to get more exp.
Profit: 36,459,500
(Option 2 Part a)
60-75 Yews
Number of logs to cut till lvl 75: 5,353
Profit: 2,676,500
(Option 2 Part b) 75-99 Magic tree

Location: Seers' Village (south), Sorceror's Tower, Tree Gnome Stronghold, Mage Training Arena, and Lletya (southwest).
Exp per log: 250
Number of logs to cut till lvl 99: 47,297
Requirement: A hatchet either equip or in inventory
Recommeded to: Use a Dragon hatchet
Profit: 68,013,086
Total time it will take for method II: Up to 6-12 months.
Extras
Always use the best hatchet you can it would help you level faster if you can't afford a Dragon hatchet then use the inferno adze but if you can't get the inferno adze/ can't afford the Dragon hatchet then use a Rune hatchet or the Scared clay hatchet. Also try to get full lumberjack they boost up to 2.5% exp in woodcutting + try to get the strung rabbit foot necklace that helps with getting some extra cash during the way to 99 woodcutting.
