Hello everyone. I have been considering buying a jtag. I do understand that at this moment they can not go online. I am not just buying one for lobbies either, so just help me out and tell me if its worth it or not?

You can go online with a Jtag... And if your not buying one to mod, then what are you considering doing with it?

He never said he wont do anything with it he just said that he isn't planning on using it for lobbies. and no you cannot go on xbox live with a jtag.

Yes a jtag is worth it. You can run emulators of old consoles like N64, GBA, SNES, & more, you can download XBLA games, DLC, & xbox 360 games and play off an external HDD.

In my opinion a jtag is worth it depending on what you are going to use it for.

Here are some of the awesome things you can do with a jtag:

-Run Homebrew.
-System Linking.
-Run emulators - PS1,NES,SNES,GBA and more!
-Run custom dashboards e.g. Freestyle Dash.
-Get free Xbox Live Arcade Games!
-Save games/movies to HDD and never need it's disk again.
-Host online lobbies - At the moment it is not possible.
-Mod your games as much as you want to.
-Download Xbox/Xbox 360 game Iso's/DLC from the internet and be able to use them.

Buy a jtag if u wanna mod games but if your just going to buy so u can get games early ur beter off having your drive flashed. 2.0 came out a week ago.

Oh yea, its worth it for you buddy. You are one of the very few ppl on here that are:

1. wanting to buy a JTAG

2. Have done your homework on the item you want to buy

3. Do not plan on trying to host lobbies

4. Do not plan on going online.

5. There is about 6 JTAG consoles in the world that are able to get on XBL today. How do you think the guys are still hosting 10th lobbies on mw2 or 15th lobbies on black ops. Not with infections. It doesnt work like that anymore.

jtags are worth it and jtags can go online if u know how to and if u know the bypass too but if not then no

just system link or offline too
