I have 2 1600 MSP cards and I don't plan on redeeming them right away. Can they expire if I don't redeem them in an amount of time?

It is just like any other major company
they expire after 1 year

i dont think they do expire
but not sure on that i just but points with my debit card on the xbox

I'm quite sure it's only the Microsoft Points awarded on your account that expire.

Nope... once its on an account microsoft cannot remove currency.. they can only Suspend / Kick / and mute accounts... once an account has currency only the owner can spend it
