Ok, well ill just start off to say that my post is going to be a little lengthy. I am a huge call of duty fan, mainly because it was my first game. Now i play all FPS, Halo, CoD, battlefield. I also play GoW i can agree with him that battlefield opened my eyes to a whole new way that FPS's could play. Not only are battlefield guns less OPed, more realistic, and just a better variety, but the community is just so much nicer. Almost no one try hards, or atleast from my experiance with the beta. I did run into a few no lives, like a few level 40+ along the lines. For the most part though battlefield is defantly a better game than CoD.

This has to be the dumbest shit i've heard in a while.

1. Battlefield guns less OP? How are you going to compare guns in different games to each other? The UMP45 in the beta was pretty OP. Also more realisitic? Some of the guns sound like paint ball guns. Better variety? You're right, but 2 weeks into the game people will realize which guns are the best and their will always be those same 3-5 guns in each game.

2. Not as many try hards? A try hard is someone who plays to win. In BF im pretty sure they play to win.

3. Community is nicer? Both communities seem about equal to me. COD probaly seems worst because they disable party chat so you talk to more people. If someone actually talks on BF, they're etheir a rager (ive played BFBC2, BFBC1, BF2:MC, BF2, BF 1943)or %20 of the time someone whos actually talking to get team work going. But everyone else is in party chat so it doesnt work out.

4. No lives? Just because you are most likely in middle school and go to school everday, doesnt mean everyone does. If they want to sit at home and have fun with their life, hows that a no life? Because i know during breaks you sit at home all day playing games.

5. You're whats wrong with the COD community, please go to BF3. Dont come back to MW3 when you see all your friends playing it and having a great time.

1.
Some fans have complained that PDWs and other multi-class weapons are overpowered conpared to the AK-47 and other starting weapons. Alan Kertz, Senior Gameplay Designer at DICE, addressed these concerns by saying: PDWs have been adjusted.we are aware of the feedback and will continue to support BF3.
Its a PDW at high level, and its role has changed to be more like the VSS from BC2, though not as powerful.

2. Some people may be "tryhards" in Battlefield. But most people aren't, they work together as a team, move up the map progressively, planting charges and defending them together whereas idiots try to rush the bomb sites and kill whore.

3. That is what squads are for, so you don't need party chat and from my past experience with CoD games, most people are just sh*t talkers.

4. I agree with you on that one. Some people have more spare time on their hands so obviously they will be the ones ranked higher.

5. I think that you're the type of person that no-one likes on a game. Trying to boss others around by telling them to not come back to a game just because they choose to play something they think is better. You think everything you say is right and what others say is wrong.

1. One gun will still always come out on top. It will be that one gun everyone uses.

2. Their isnt any such thing as a try hard. People just get mad because when they're goofing around someone is playing to win. Do people play games to lose?

3. What are you talking about? No one talks in BF3, and when they do n i rarely ever gets a good team mate whos actually trying to win. Most of them are shit talkers who get mad because they arent using team work, and plant the bomb at A when everyone else is at B. The bomb then gets confused and he starts talking us retards. You simply run into more shittalkers in COD because not everyone sits in party chat in COD, like BF.

The only way i possibly get team work in BF is if im playing with my friends. Other then that, its like COD with people doing their own thing, even on PC.

4. I know.

5. Lol you relating how I act on forums, to how i act in game. Where their is no correlation between the two. But if you're playing like one of those people in BF who continue to try and rush straight down the middle and go 0-10 in 1 minute, i will tell you to stop being retarded and go back to COD. You seem like on of those people i would have to say that to.

-JayWalker- wrote Sorry, still COD... My opinion is that the Beta isn't that good... Though I will get hate, and people will go against me, I find SO much more camping in BF3 than Black Ops... Maybe it's because I'm in Europe, but I don't know... I just get spawn sniped by some loser with the SVD in BF...
honestly thats because a bunch of cod players played the beta considering its open and free... go on a game like bfbc2 and there is not nearly as much snipers and campers

So im at school right now so im going to make this short but i loved call of duty then i played the battlefield beta and it completely changed my prospective.

1.More realastic
2.Better guns
3.And plain out fun
4. Better Maps

More Realistic = Yes
Better Guns = More balanced, no overpowered
Plain Out Fun = No glitches/glitchers, no mods/modders, more teamwork!
Better Maps = No small maps like Call of Duty.
