I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 and i currently have 4.2.1 software. Every time I download the update, i get a message that says i have an "internal error" and then it gives me the option "ok" or "more info". i click on more info an follow all the steps on the apple help page. I'm getting annoyed because it wont even let me restore the device. Please leave suggestions, ill plus rep if it works.

download itune 10.5?
if so then restart your computer an open itunes after
if you must put iphone in dfu mode an click restore
should make you update to 5.0 after
if not download from a different source
download tiny umbrella
open tiny umbrella go to advance tab
turn off the one that has a side not saying (turn this off if you want a clean restore from itunes)
start itunes an shift restore an locate you ipsw

If you can't update, It's because apples servers are dealing with 'mass' of downloads for iOS 5, try again later, or tomorrow
