If you are new to VB then why are you trying to make a Gears 3 editor? You need to start with something A LOT easier. Make like a calculator or something.

yh i agree, i've done programming at uni and still not sure on everything, try pick up w3schools.com and play through some tutorials, also the help guide in those programs are some of the best, Don't forget to debug

Hmm, Your new to it make something easy to start, Then make something hard when u get the hang of it.
Or else it will put u of of VB.

If your a beginner try using thenewboston google it that should help alot

You should start small if you're a beginner. I believe there are some Youtube videos of VB tutorials, which starts with pretty small projects and works its way up to pretty big projects. That's the best way you'll ever learn how to code something on your own. Trust me, I know, it's pretty hard to code a decent website, let alone a multifunctioning program
