Trolling and stupid, immature posts.
I recently posted on a topic asking "Do Microsoft sell flashed xbox's?"

Now, I would say that 95% of the replies were- "Are you stupid, obviously not  "
Not only have you responded in the most stupid and immature manner, you have set a bad example on the website. You need to answer properly, and thoroughly, and even if you answer is wrong, you have taken the time to write something which could be up to 200% longer than the other people. It makes you stand out from the rest of the "crowd" , and staff will notice that. In case you're wondering, this is my response to the topic:

Asking questions that could be found on the net.
This is very annoying. Not so long ago, I saw a post asking where to get 8.5GB Duel Layer disks. It would take 5 seconds to find that on Google, and again, you would get a better response to most people on here. You are creating un necessary posts, which then cause the staff to look at yours, when there could be something to do with pornography (Just an example).

Always Google something you don't know, and then post if you cannot find anything.

Spamming the Introduce section, as well as the GFX section with "Rate my (blah blah blah) topics".
It happens all the time. You see people post exactly the same thing over and over again, post after post, even worse in the introduce yourself section. The other day, the same person had posted on 5 different "Hi my name is" topics, with the same thing, and it was something along the lines of- Hi, welcome. Read the rules and stay active.

It's O.K. of you do it every now and then, but if you do it 24/7, it's spam. It's post count boosting, and as you all know, it's against the rules.

It's also very common in the GFX section (I know many people don't like it being called that). The other day, I asked how good was the signature and avatar I made, and I don't think that any of the replies were constructive, i.e. told me what I could have improved on. All I got was "Good mate, keep up the good work". I have recently posted a long(ish) topic in the Technology section about all the best technology on the market today, and one of the comments I received was this-

Amazing. I was gobsmacked, I didn't think anyone had the potential to write that sort of reply, after what I had seen that day. It was perfect. He told me what he thinks I should add, and gave me some ideas, with positive and negative feedback. Without hesitation, I +repped him. That is a very good example of a constructive reply.

That doesn't mean to say that you can say "This is bad, so is this this and this". No. Tell them what is wrong, and how to improve, and tell them what is good about it.

People moaning about people "spamming".
I see trollestia (I think that's the account name) get so much abuse, because of how many posts he gets. I went through his whole previous months of posts, and I reckon, that 99% of those weren't spam. They might not have been useful, but they certainly weren't spam. If he is active, and gets 1K posts in a week, so be it. Remember how many words he must have written, and like he said, it isn't that hard. If I hadn't made this topic, I could easily have posted 30 times. Maybe more. What the Rants should be about is "Un-useful members". Because, sorry, trollestia isn't.

When I can think of more things to write about, I will add them to the post.

Wait, in the 1st post you asked a stupid question. I'm hardly surprised people flamed you. Microsoft moderators ban people with flashed xbox's, why would they sell them. And your 2nd rant is people asking questions that could be found on the net.

So why didn't you google do microsoft sell flashed xboxes?

 moment? I think so.

Also, to add to the facepalm, in your third rant you ranted about GFX artists wanting feedback on their work, then moaned about spamming. Whats yuour 4th rant about? People who moan about spammers.

Were you actually on drugs when you wrote this?

(I'll quote incase you edit out your stupidity)

Great post, you where right about basically everything, I agree that trolliesta gets too much hate, they may not post something useful 100% of time however they do not spam the introduce your self section and milestones section.

My thoughts on the asking questions "asking questions that can be found on the net" is that you are completely right, Everyday I see things like "why is the sky blue?" I just think, well google it and find out, The annoying thing about it is that I can't find anything to report it for.

I also like the rant on trolling and stupid answers, A example of this is the first reply on this topic, they just posted a quote that is over used and not even humorous and will not help anybody or give you feedback or their opinion.

Great rant, +rep

I also seen the topic "Do Microsoft sell flashed xbox's?" I thought to myself would I really give my time to post on that when he could have easily Googled the answer, but no since he posted it it was flamed and trolled with about the same answer over and over again.

Read, "I posted ON a topic saying ...

I didn't ask it.

Also, read what I actually wrote. For god sake, I stated that Trollestia isn't actually a spammer, and that I moan about people posting on GFX topics "Good, keep up the work". I know what my next rant is going to be about, people that either can't read, or don't understand English.
