Ok what is better and takes more skill, rapping or being in a band or what takes more skill, in my opinion it is being in a Rock/Metal band because for one your depending on everybody in the band to be on time of what they play, theres drums, guitar(s), bass, a singer(s), and sometimes a DJ, and sometimes people have to do multiple things. And rap all you have to do is rhyme. So i think that Metal/Rock wins.

this will start a flame war, but rock/metal takes MUCH more skill and sounds better. Rap by definition is not music and takes virtually no skill.

Rock is the best kind of music. reading lyrics of a sheet while someone else makes a beat for you doesnt take skill.

Having the name A7X makes you a bit biased to make a topic like this. You are clearly on the side of Rock/metal.

I agree. Even though I am on the Rock and Medal side, some rap does take skill as in freestyle but, some rap songs especially the rap songs you hear on the radio doesn't sound good.
