Well im sure if you get it early and play it wouldn't you get banned for it? my friend got banned because were he lived he got Mw2 a day early and play it and got console banned.

If you play any game before it's release date and you're not authorized to play it you will get banned.

The reason for this is because the fake video of MW3 copy was taken down by Activision and it was fake in the first place. I'm not going to play online, mostly campaing. I think that I'd get banned if I played online. Remember guys, I won't know for sure until Monday or Tuesday. I'm not lying but I know that a lot of people are going to think/say I am. If I don't get it ( which I might not and won't be surprised if I don't) then I may be getting over hyped for nothing. I might make a new Youtube channel and XBL account to show online gameplay and videos if I get it. I know I may be getting worked up for nothing but I'm just kissing major **** to my friend since he's even trying in the first place. Again, I don't know for sure yet if I'll get it. I'm going to be paying my friend anywhere from $40 to $100 for this even if he doesn't ask for any. Please no trolling or flaming, thanks guys.

They can get banned if the company chooses to. However Call Of Duty games have been played early since MW2 by the hundreds. The chance that you are going to get banned is so small you shouldnt even think about it. Coming from someone who both has attempted and succeeded in getting COD games early (Black ops).

Okay guys, my friend's cousin called him last night and told him he WILL send him a copy! BUT, he doesn't know when he gets his shipment in. So he said if he gets it early enough we will send it, but if he only get's it like two days early, he won't because it probably would get here on the 8th anyway. So I still might get it early. I really, really, really, really, really hope I do. But if I don't, then I can wait until the 8th. Thanks guys.

Oh, and I don't live in Illinois. Only his cousin.

The second thing which makes me believe it's bullshizz is this quote. You said Activision took down a fake video, well if this video was supposedly fake, Activision wouldn't have the legal authority to be able to take it down, due to it not copyrighting any of this content.

What are you talking about? There was a video on YouTube of some guy acting like r got a copy early. It was taken down by activision because of a copyright claim. The same guy released another video showing that it was fake. That's why I'm saying I'm not going to make a video. Because a fake video got taken down. And if you read the other comments, some guy adressess that it's not illegal. Forgot the guys name and I'm on my iPhone.

So let's say it's not illegal, surely companies like gamestop, gamestation etc. would sell early copies for literally hundreds of dollars/pounds? They receive their copies of the games weeks before release.....
