the rep system is easy to understand
Since i have 153 i can give the max amount of rep
the max amount of rep i can give is 25 because i dont have gold
if i was a gold member i could give up to 50 rep at a time
if i was a mod or admin i could give up to 100 rep at a time
you never lose rep when you give it
you could give rep up to 10 times a day
for every 25 posts you get another rep power for you to give away to members so it you post daily you could get a good amount of rep power and people could see that you are an active member
and you get another rep point when you get 100 rep points which is what people give you
so if someone gave you 25 rep points you need another 75 rep points to get another power
if a friend or anyone gives you a large amount of rep for no reason then mods will reset your rep and the other persons too
you give rep to people when they are being helpful to you or at least tried to help
I will help you out and give you 25 rep for being a new member

you could also check how much rep points you have from others by going to your profile and go to Reputation
