ZimMeisterFlash wrote Congrats on your purchase! r00t_b33r's impressions happen to come from my promedias. I have had them for maybe 6 months now and it may have been the best $150 I have ever spent. I use them for gaming and listening to music and they are so incredibly good for that price. The subwoofer is far more powerful than one would expect and I find myself actually turning it down for some styles of music. I would never recommend anything else in that price range.

I was looking at them for awhile before you got them and had auditioned them at Best Buy, then I realized I never even use speakers. I would definitely get some near fields M-Audio AV30/AV40s if I wanted speakers, though since I'm not a big bass head, and am probably not allowed to be in my house.

Car audio is for, well, cars. It's not hi-fi at all.
