Hey guys! I've decided to make a guide on how I do my Bandos solos. I'll go pretty in depth with this guide and tell you the best way to solo Bandos, give you some useful tips and tricks, and kill some common misconceptions about soloing.

Notes:
* This will require SOME basic knowledge of Bandos/the GWD area.
* Some techniques mentioned in this guide will be advanced.
* My method involves having access to Extreme potions, Pack yaks, and Turmoil.

Let's start off with my method of soloing Bandos. Here's the gear I use:

Helm: Neitiznot
Necklace: Fury
Cape: Fire cape
Weapon: Whip
Shield: Dragonfire shield
Top: Karil's body
Bottom: Bandos Tasset's
Gloves: Barrow
Boots: Dragon
Ring: Berserker (i)

Cheaper Method:

Just replace the tassy with Verac's skirt, Berserker ring with Warrior ring, And Fury with Glory, Dfs with Dragon/Rune Defender.

Cheapest Method:

Just replace Karil's top with Black D'hide body.

Inventory:

The potions are: Extreme Attack, Extreme Strength, Extreme Defence, 6x Prayer potions, 2x Special recovery - Unicorn pouch, 60x Healing Aura scrolls, 30x Winter storage scrolls.

If you don't have the requirements for it, replace claws with DDS/BGS, Replace Extreme's with Super Sets, for summoning replace Yak with Tortoise/Terror bird/Bull ant/ The unicorn I recommend but If you can't use it that's fine.

I also take a Pack Yak with supplies:

If you don't have a bandos item or don't want to take a bandos item, Here is a method to use. Bring out your ring of dueling, Teleport to Mobilising Armies, Run to Oo'glog and use the redish looking pool. What it does is Bandos washes over you for a set period of time, I think an hour or so. *Note: This requires the quest, "As a First Resort"

Use the three pools I have circled one boosts prayer and the other run I think.

Once you have taken a dip in these pools, you can prepare your inventory and familiar. Get out 4 Fire and Law runes and a Duelling ring, then prepare the rest of your inventory and familiar. Once you do this, tele to Trollheim and drop 2 sharks. Quickly tele to Castle Wars, bank the ring, take out 2 more sharks, then tele back to Trollheim and pick up your other 2 sharks. After that, you can preceed to get your killcount and go solo Graardor. MAKE SURE TO HAVE YOUR ZAMMY ITEM ON BEFORE YOU ENTER THE DUNGEON. You can drop it and the hammer once you are outside the boss door. It's easiest if you set your quick curses to: Protect item, Berserker, Deflect Melee and Turmoil. Use claws for specs when you can. (Never spec as soon as he spawns though, you need to give Turmoil time to kick in.) Once the boss is downed you can start killing the minions. It's a good idea to use Soul split here to refill your HP. Caution note: Save the meleer for last, as you have the greatest melee defense. Use deflect magic while killing the mage and deflect range while killing the ranger. ---> I normally repot when my stats get around 117-118.

With the release of Saradomin and Zamorak arrows, these WILL count as a god item while you're getting Kc! That means you can save an inventory space by equipping a Zamorak arrow. (Only need one!)

Now that my method is out of the way, let's review some other methods shall we? (And prove that Godswords aren't all that great!)

One of the most common methods used to solo Bandos is using a Godsword. I must inform you that this IS NOT the best way to do it. By using a Godsword you are not only sacrificing loads of potential defence, but you're also going to be getting much less DPS (Damage per second.) With a Godsword I could max around 4-5 or so kills per trip maybe. With a Whip and Dfs I can easily get 10+ kills per trip. MUCH BETTER.

My method is not THE best, because there is an even better way to do Bandos solos. Replace the DFS I use with an Elysian spirit shield, the Helm of Neitiznot with a Verac's helm, and you'll need access to Overload potions. Overloads boost your stats to 125 for 5 minutes NO MATTER WHAT. That means you can use Sara brews as food the whole time, which is around 3x the healing potential per inventory slot. I'm not sure on the inventory setup for using Overloads, but I'm sure you can find a Bandos solo guide for Overload users on Youtube.

I'll now list from best to worst the gear for Bandos solos:

|Tank Method| (My Method)

Helm: Verac's helm > Helm of Neitiznot
Necklace: Fury > Glory
Cape: Soul Wars cape > Fire cape > Skillcape
Weapon: Chaotic Rapier > Chaotic Longsword > Whip > Godsword
Shield: Divine shield > Elysian shield > DFS > Obsidian shield
Top: Karil's body > Black d'hide
Bottom: Verac's skirt > Bandos tassets
Gloves: Barrow > Dragon > Best RFD gloves
Boots: Dragon > Bandos
Ring: Onyx (i) > Warrior (i) > (Dragonstone (i) > Berserker (i) > Berserker

|Berserker Method| (Note: This method gives up alot of Defence.)

Helm: Helm of Neitiznot > Warrior's helm > Verac's helm
Necklace: Fury > Glory
Cape: Soul Wars cape > Fire cape
Weapon: Chaotic Rapier > Chaotic Longsword > Whip > Godsword
Shield: Rune Defender, Divine shield, Elysian, DFS
Top: Karil's body > Black d'hide
Bottom: Bandos tassets > Verac's skirt
Gloves: Barrow > Dragon > Best RFD gloves
Boots: Dragon > Rune > Climbing
Ring: Warrior (i) > Onyx (i) > Dragonstone (i) > Warrior ring > Berserker (i)

*Note: Without atleast 75+ stats and 70+ prayer, You are gonna fail. I got my first kill with between 75-80 in combat stats and 70 Prayer so It's very possible to do under 90+ stats.

That just about raps everything up I think, And If you are wondering, This is a guide for people that aren't that experienced with Bandos solo/duo's.

This guide WAS made on SmokinElite, And I brought it to TTG.

For Combat, the lowest possible would be probably 75+ Attack/Strength/Defence/Hp and 70+ Prayer is HIGHLY recommended, without 70 Prayer you're gonna fail. I'd recommend 90+ in combat stats, But I got my first bandos kill when my stats were 75+ with 70 Prayer.

Yeah, I'm actually friends IRL with the person that made this guide, IF you're talking about ExtraVagance.
