Space is, and will forever be, expanding at the speed of light.
The Big Bang created matter which will continue to spread, and therefore expand the universe.
Before I get people arguing, let me say this: I am a Christian. If you've taken basic mathematics classes, you'll know how to revert a formula. E=MC2, so M=EC2 means that Mass = Energy * speed of light squared. Well, that's my thoughts, at least.

It has to end somewhere but we will never find that place because you'll have to ask yourself
what is space?

Space is infinite, something that our brains can not mentally understand because we have never experienced something that is infinite and have always been taught that everything ends.
