I got the same rep. He got into my pc and looked at the tut. He started controlling my pc and crap. Then a box came up about authorites notified so I shut off everything.

Just tried for an online code, and they were insistent that I contact the retailer about it ("GameStop" in this case), and refused to give out codes.

Seems like they've changed their policy, unless you get lucky, I guess.

even though I said i preordered it for xbox she gave me an origin code with 16 letters instead of the usual 25 letters :=?

EDIT: Got an Xbox code the second time I tried it.

It depends on the adviser you get.

I've been trying to get an online pass for xbox 360.
My first attempt they just said there was nothing they could do.
My second attempt they gave me a warranty number.
My third attempt that wanted me to take a picture of the game in the case and online code and give it to them for proof.

I don't know if I'm unlucky or what. But I can't get one.
