There was a power outage where I live today.
All classes got cancelled.
The power was back on in a couple of hours though.

Omen wrote its a power outage dont freak out about it

Its a serious problem and people should worry about it! With no heat and these cold temperatures the water pipes can freeze and burst which in turn floods the house! People are loosing all the food in their fridge... If they haven't thought of getting a cooler or putting stuff in the snow! You try losing power for a week with temperatures in the 20's at night and some days only hitting 35 and not having heat in your house. my buddy has a 3 month old baby girl, he had to leave his house and stay at a hotel... People dont have the money to support stuff like this! Just think of how much it costs to fill up the generator that has to stay running for a week straight! And some people like my step brother haven't been able to work because their work doesn't have power! But hey its only a power outage... No big deal!!

I know they suck dude, earlier this year I was out of power for about a week and a half in 30C+ (86F) weather with like 70% humidity, now that sh*t makes you really appreciate when you have power, due to heat, not just not having things.
