How to play a downloaded minecraft map [Singleplayer]
How to play the downloaded map *ONLINE*
1) Download the map and extract it if it needs to be extracted; You Should get the folders
- Data
- Region
- Level.dat
- Level.dat_old
- Session_lock;
2) When you have them files click the start button & type in run, a little box will pop up
3) After the box has popped up enter in it %appdata% then click 'OK', A folder will pop up within that folder search for another folder called '.minecraft'
4) When you have entered '.minecraft' look for another folder called 'saves' within this folder there will be your minecraft single player saves. Create a new folder in there and name it what you want the new single player map to be called on your minecraft.
5) With the map you downloaded drag all of the ;Data,Region; e.t.c folders & stuff into the folder you have just created. When you have created that you will be ready to play the new map!
6) If you already had minecraft open, Close It & Open it up again go to single player & your new map will be there waiting for you to play it. I hope you liked this tutorial, If it helped please thank the topic.

2) Open that folder and then delete everything in it but 'Players & DIM-1'.
3) With the new map you downloaded make sure you have extracted it and you have to folders & files named below
- Data
- Region
- Level.dat
- Level.dat_old
- Session_lock; Drag them all into the folder what you just deleted the other world in.
3) Turn your server off then back on again then you will have your new map & it will be ready to be played on!

pretty simplistic most people would know how to do that but it still may come in handy
