I found out about TTG through a friend of mine who went by the name of Beeftank.
He was running modified lobbies with increased jump height, massive experience per kill and the works.
This was back in late 2009 or very early 2010, not sure when exactly.
I'd seen TTG's name on game leaderboards for about a year or so prio to that, but never thought to join until Beefy suggested the site to me.
