XBOX 360 INTERNET BROWSER TUTORIAL
This requires no modding and no hacks.

YOU NEED WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER (XP or Vista) FOR THIS TO WORK.

Acknowledgement: this requires you to have a Premium Windows Vista edition (Vista Ultimate or Vista Home Premium) or Windows XP Media Center Edition. If you do not have a functional Windows Media Center, there is no love for you in this tutorial

Firstly, assuming you do in fact have Windows Media Center, download

This

Once downloaded, install it. This may take a few minutes, it isn't exactly a snappy instalation.

If you already have Windows Media Center on your 360 set up properly just skim through the tutorial until you find the part about opening and using the browser

FIRSTLY

Open Media Center on your Xbox 360:

Just press A...

If you get a warning message about your router, doesn't matter, press continue:

You will end up with a screen with a 6 digit code, don't press continue quite yet. Hop onto your lovely dovely computer sporting Windows Media Center:

Go to Tasks and click add extender (In XP it is somewhere else, but I'm sure you can find it on your own!):

Just click next...

Enter the code exactly as shown on your 360, don't use my code either!

Put a check in the I have already configured my firewall radio button and click next:

You may get a warning message, just click next:

Put a check in the Yes radio button and click next:

Your computer will do a bunch of things, just wait for it to finish...

You may get a network optimizer thing after it's done, just click no, then click finish.

Give your eyes a break from your computer and take a look at the TV:

If all is well your 360 should be up and running either Windows Vista Media Center or the older Media Center.

If you are using Vista, go here:

If you are using XP, then just go to more programs.

In both Media Center versions you should see this icon, select it and press A:

TADA! You have a browser on your 360!

Once open, you can navigate the first menu with your left stick. I suggest plugging a keyboard into your 360 now, or attach the controller keyboard add-on like I have.

Just to get things rolling, press down with the left stick, then press A on enter URL: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Ignore all the fancy letter and mobile-phone looking keypad and just press Y. This will bring up the normal 360 text entry menu, type in [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (Or wherever you want) then once you enter it, press left on the left stick and press A on Browse to URL:

Yay!

Yes guys I realize this is on the old NXE dash. I take no credit in finding this, only sharing with TTG i searched all over and didn't see it on here. I have tried it and it does work but I used a youtube tut(better at listening then reading lots of text=P)

I do not know who the founder of this is. But I got it from Covert on a dead website called teamxbox.
