I know this is basic, but what is the difference between "Device ID" and "Console ID" when using either Modio or Horizon. The reason I ask is that I recently noticed that my Device ID changed when viewing a saved game from Mass Effect 2 as compared to a saved game from DA 2 and Deus EX (which were the same). I wanted to import a modded ME 2 career save game package to my USB stick but didn't know which Device ID to use.

Btw neither works on the career save. When using Horizon, changed Id's, r/r and save to USB device. However, when I plug USB into xbox, career save is not on USB stick.

Device ID
is Your Profile Id which your Console is On or Signed into. and it Encrypts it into a XUID on the Xbox DATABASE.

CONSOLE ID
Now the Console id is the Thing Everyone hates as in all CON FILES are able to be rehashed and Resigned. As for PIRS Files or LIVE files that CANNOT be REHASHED to a Profile since they are Signed and ENCRYPTED with and Encrypted Coding that we cannot Decrypt unless we have a JTAG then use YARIS SWAP to Change the Signed Flags to FFFFFFFFFFF (Means Useable for Everyone) DOES"NT WORK FOR RETAIL.

hope that helps
