what is that camera right above where you chose a map that says on it a pic of a camera and if it records your gameplay how do i view it

You mean MW3 and not sure as I don't have it, though it could be a theatre function.

in mw2? there isnt one.
in mw3 its showing you that its recording..
you can check it by going into theatre from the multiplayer menu
