hey ttg, i have got a 20gb hard drive on my big xbox, and i was wondering if i could just take it apart and by a 60gb hard drive then take that apart and just change the chip inside because i dont want to just switch hard drives because my 20gb hard drive case is all painted so can i do that ??

when you take it apart you have to use the reader that is connected to your Harddrive. the thing that your harddrive is plugged into

All you have to do is to take apart your painted case and then put the 60gb inside instead of putting 20gb back in and then your done

well when i did it i had to change the reader with it is really easy to do i would just do it if i was you just so you know it will work
