I was just wondering if equipping heavy armor makes your character move slower. I know that in Oblivion if you were to equip armor with more weight compared to something of lighter weight, then you would be slower even if you weren't over encumbered. I have tested this a bit in Skyrim but I am having a bit of trouble coming to a conclusion since I have only been a level 2 High Elf (Hide Armor) and a level 8 Nord (Steel Armor). Any help would be appreciated.

yeah, you move a bit slower. But at 75 heavy armor stats you can make it way nothing as it says, which = stats of the armor with the ups of light armor.

Yes, Heavy Armor Makes You Run Slower. But, In The Heavy Armor Skill Tree You Can Get A Perk Making The Armor Weightless.
