Well I'm planning on building a desktop. It's gonna be for Gaming. I Will be playing games such as World of Warcraft. My budget At the moment is, $1000-$1500. I want to learn now as in the next couple years im making custom built Gaming Computers to sell (I have way more then enough to start this, As im not giving how much money i get when 1 of my certain family members die). Ok but back to the Computer, i need some help on what i should get. If i build the first computer Good, the likely hood of me making another one is VERY high. Alright, so lets get down to the point.
Budget: $1000-$1500
Type of computer: Gaming
What i need to learn: how to put together the computer and how to pick the right parts.

So basically im asking for someone to guide me into how i should make this computer. How to get better knowledge with the parts such as, CPU, RAM, Stuff like that. I really hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks for reading!

You have a lot to learn if you're getting into building and selling gaming PC's. Just a tip, it's a tight business.

But back to the build, I could build a sub ~$600 build that will run WoW flawlessly, but overkill is better, right?

Probably the best all around parts you can get with your budget.

HAF 932: awesome case designed by CM. Comes pre-installed with 3 x 200mm fans and is able to do triple SLI/CF.

1TB WD Green: pure storage drive. Reason to why it is so expensive is due to the factories who manufacturer these HDD's have sunk in water due to the severe floods.

GTX 570: awesome budget card. Nvidia's equivalent to the 6970. If you have plans on playing on 2 or more screens, the extra vRAM would be nice. Either buy this now, or wait for the 560 ti 448 core.

XFX 850w: the same thing as the 850w Seasonic units minus the labeling. Top notch PSU with a stable +12v rail. Can easily handle OC's of 5ghz on the 2500k and SLI'd 570's without breaking a sweat. Modular as well so it will look slick.

8gb's of Mushkin RAM: Standard low profile RAM. 1.5v is perfect for SB.

ASrock board: possibly the best board you can get in this price range right now. Gold caps for longer life efficiency. It also splits into 8x 8x with dual cards so it is ideal. PCI 3.0 so it will support the bandwith for upcoming cards.

2500k: best gaming CPU out. Crushes any AMD CPU on the market as of now. There really isn't much more to say.

NH-D14: I'd say this is one of the best air coolers out there ( competing with the Silver Arrow ). Noctua's fans are known to be dead silent, yet move quite a bit of air. Basically, you're setting yourself up for 4.5 ghz (+). It comes with some pretty descent thermal paste too.

SSD: SSD's are the future. The majority of people use them as their boot drive since they are 2 - 3 times faster than a standard 7200rpm drive.

Great post generation, But I would suggest that you get the 6970, since it has more features.

Future games will take more than 1.2 GB of vRam.

Tests have shown that games like Battlefield 3 or Skyrim takes over 1.3 GB of vRam, also performs better in crossfire.

Battlefield 3 6970 (340$) vs GTX 580 (500$) in Crossfire and SLI

Also note that AMD doesen't have PhsyX or 3D vision.

But, if it was me. I'll take the 6970.
