Possibly they might, but for now the true max level is 81.

I just tried this and it's kind of weird. After I place it on the shelf and take it back I can't activate my bookshelf. So my bookshelf becomes useless after the 1st time doing it.

Is it patched or is my game retarded?

yeah I did. I'll try it a few different ways and see if I can get it to work.

And I got an update for the game today so maybe the update had something to do with it?

the update patched it for bookshelf but you can still do it in dressers
