How to get 20,000 gold in a chest...Posted:

Go to Windhelm and find a house called 'Aretino Residence'
If you fast travel, you need to go right, and look for the house that you can walk under.
Go upstairs, and talk to the boy. he will tell you to kill a woman in Riften.
After you do that little errand, sleep in your bed at your house. If you don't have a house, then buy one. The cheapest house i believe can be bought in the castle at Whiterun. Look for the bald guy to sell it to you for 5000 gold.
You will wake up with a woman called astrid next to you. do as she says, and continue with the interrogation. She will ask you to kill one of three people.
It doesn't matter who you kill, so kill any or you can decide for yourself.
When thats done she will give you the location and password of the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary.
Just keep doing the brotherhood quests, and then at the end of the big one [i wont reveal any spoilers] you will be directed to an urn with 20,000 gold in it.
Have fun doing this.

So basically you're rewarded for finishing the Dark Brotherhood questline.

Only Problem is you need the 20k for a main quest later on

I get around 6k an hour. 20k was quite helpful though.

To bad the Dark Brotherhood wants you to use the 20k to rebuild the sanctuary with that money which I used all of it to rebuild to respect the Night Mother I'm not a lier lol ;)
