Toaday i'm ordering my gaming computer and looking at the parts freinds have told me i need a 500W power supply... here are the specifications of the computer -

CPU: 1018 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
CPU Cooler: 3011 - Thermaltake Frio
Operating System: 11014 - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Motherboard: 4111 - Gigabyte M68MT-S2P
Memory: 5028 - 4GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 2GB)
Hard Drives: 6027 - NEW! 500GB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 7003 - 22x DVDRW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: 8063 - NEW! NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB

So. Do i really need a 500W power supply for my computer?.

make the ram higher maybe 6gb ddr4 so it does'nt lagg

Upgrade the RAM to 6GB or 8GB, and the HDD to 750GB.
Then that will run near-enough all games on medium-high settings with 1GB Graphics.

get a radeon, nvidia arnt good at all.

and more ram.

and not a pheno x11 quad core, get an fx-4100. its same price and better
