Summary
Runescape is a free MMORPG although you can pay monthly for extra items & quests ingame. The game was released in January 2001 by Andrew & Paul Gower & Published by Jagex Game Studios. It has over 156 million registered users & over 12 million active users & it is even noticed by the World Records book for the best most popular MMORPG game on the internet. Gameplay
You start the game in a tutorial area were you have basically a tutor (Jack) you have to complete loads of quests (around 15) for free-players and alot more for members. After that you are set out to get up your combat level and skill levels.
There is also 25 skills, what are 8 members skills and 17 free players.
Skills
Like i said before there is 25 skills, (8 Members) and 17 free players, Some off these skills are... Thieving, Agility, Fletching, Hunter, Farming - They are some member skills & some free player ones are... Firemaking, Strength, Range, Prayer, Woodcutting. When & if you reach the highest level in that skill (99 for every skill but 120 for Dungeoneering) you will beable to buy a skillcape for that skill showing that you have reached the max level in that skill, To get these skillcapes they are 99k per cape & you can get them from that skills tutor. Skills are also a really good way to make money, Lets take woodcutting for an example. When you are cutting the logs you are not just getting xp you are getting logs, You can sell these logs to other players that want to get the Firemaking skill up or for other reasons or goto the grand exchange located in varrock & sell them there.

Tips
Money Making (F2P) - Woodcutting or mining i would say is the best for F2P money making
Money Making (P2P) - Merchanting or herblore is a great way, There is other good ways, Search on youtube.
Summary
If you like the games; Skyrim, World of warcraft. You will like runescape like the other 12+ million players in the world. Basically you need to make money to get good items. You only start of with 25GP but after that i would say to go and kill the goblins at the back off the castle (Lumbridge). Pick all the bones up and sell them in varrock (Grand Exchange) to make your first 2k and get full iron & an hatchet & start woodcutting. If you want easier & better skills to train you will need to pay a low cost of $5.00.
My overall rating for this game has got to be 8. It can get very addicting quickly but after a year or two you may get bored. You will be on & off this game after 1-2 years after playing.
