While your doing this any armour works but looks like you will have to use adamant or something.. also for food take lobster and you should be set.

u will do fine just use rune and remember anti drag take strength pot and food lobbys or swordies

Take some strength pots and possibly some defence pots if you can and to be honest that should be easy enough as level 3's can do it so you have a better chance with 40+ stats.

Honestly dude DS is the easiest quest, I did it with rune chain rune legs and a rune med helm with rune scim and anti d shield if you can afford it then you're all good bring lobster or if you're mems monkfish bring str pots if you'd like and that's about it. If you're ranging you can safe spot Elvarg or w/e it's name is and just sit back lol

Use a rune scimmy. Better then a longsword I think. Good luck. It's easy though.

I would say use rune short sword, which I think is just called rune sword. Make sure you are using a stab style.

You could do it in iron. I did it on my lvl 25 pure.
