Hey guys. This is a little tutorial on how to make rounded edges on images in Photoshop. There are MANY ways you can do this but this is how I do it. I am using my avatar from another site as an example. It is not the best example but it will do :/

1) Open your image in Photoshop.

2) Click on the "Layer" button at the top and go to where it says "New". Then click "Background from Layer". A window should pop up. Click the "Ok" button.

3) Go to your toolbox on the left and select the "Rectangular Marquee Tool". Draw a box around the image (this will be the outline for the edges).

4) Click on the "Select" button at the top and go to where it says "Modify". Then click "Smooth". A window should pop up. This is where you select how rounded you want the corners to be. The higher the number, the more rounded your corners will be. Click the "Ok" button.

5) Click on the "Select" button at the top and click "Inverse".

6) Click on the "Edit" button at the top and click "Cut".

7) (Optional) You now have rounded corners on your your Image. You can add a small border around your image if you want. Personally, I think it looks better with one. Right click your image and click "Blending Options". Go down to the bottom where it says "Stroke". Click it and select the color and size of your border. Then click "Ok".

Hope this helps some of you guys out
