Also.... this is a fail of what to do in school. If your going to penetrate their network, don't do it in school.... you will be traced extremely easily and be given disciplinary action. If you really feel the need to continue, get to know the physical topography of your schools network. Make a chart/map of the logical and physical network, it will help you later on. If server rooms are left open and unlocked, you can easily get in through there. It's just about knowing the network and finding a vulnerability.
