You may aswell just get the standard one because all I think the gaming edition has is green LED and a few extras. So overall I suggest you get the standard one.
This is what it says for the gaming edition.
The Gaming Edition includes a new jet black case plus a universal Component Video cable, so you can bring 1080i video from your game console into the HD PVR. Also, we include the latest version of Arcsoft ShowBiz which allows you to record your game play in HD and upload directly to YouTube.

The original HD PVR is 199.00 , the new " Gaming Edition " is 199.00 so it doesn't really matter which one you get, BUT the gaming edition does have a few extras that could help, so get the gaming edition.

just get the normal one 720p vs 1080i
1.not many people can stream 1080i on youtube
2.720p will look better then 1080i with fast moving like COD when you move really fast
3.the extras arent really worth an extra 100$
4.720p is 720 pergestions a second but 1080i is halfed it 540 pergestions then off sets by 1
then does a other 540 pergestions so if there's a big explosion like on battlefield you'll see lines on the play back
