I sometimes am half asleep.
I was reading once and fell asleep.
But I carried on reading and my mind was processing the words. I think its possible

Half asleep is the time when you are "sleeping" but your sences haven't gone completly off yet. So you asleep but you still hear and remember. Kinda like when watching a movie before bed. You don't exactly remember what part you were at because you were asleep, but were still watching.

Distance wrote Go look up lucid dreaming. It's basically where you dream, but you know that you are dreaming and can control it.
Maybe that's it.

Nice, but that isn't the same thing. Lucid dreaming is when you are inside a dream controlling everything, like some of the scenes in inception.

It's not. You can't lucid dream right on the spot. It takes practice.

They are also spontaneous, so it could have been a random lucid.

Kokiri wrote Well, I sometimes "Doze off" in class. And when I woke up I'd remember everything that happened.

No, I was not awake, so don't mention that.

Draw eyes on your eyelids. Now stop listening!
