Did I make the right choice by getting an Xbox 360 over PS3?

I already own a 60GB Premium Xbox 360, and I have had that for 3 years now.

It is getting old and it is quite faulty.

So ... for Christmas 2011 I got a new Xbox 360 Slim 250gb w/ Halo C.E.A,Fifa 12 and 12 Months Gold.

I am just worried that if I should of kept my old Xbox(I probably could of lived with it),got a PS3 or just got rid of my old Xbox and got a new one(like I have done now)

Also with rumors of new consoles coming out I am also concerned.

Trust me, I'm pretty sure no new consoles are coming out in even the next two years. So you don't have to worry.

But, I think you made the right choice.

No new consoles are coming out.

If they were, Microsoft wouldn't waste their time with a new Dashboard.

Like Westicles said, don't expect a new console for quite a while! I'm thinking more like 5 years.

You should definitely consider buying a couple more games to maximise your enjoyment. Xbox has a new dashboard aswell which has and is going to get loads of features. I have a PS3 and that isn't enjoyable for me anymore. But my xbox is, guess I'm just an Xbox fanatic. If you've had 3 years on one xbox, you should definitely stick round because things are only going to get better.
