Before everyone starts to say that people that are acquainted to other religions are taking "Christ out of Christmas", you might want to think where the Christians stole it from. It was originally a Pagan holiday that celebrated Saturnalia, which was in worship of the god Saturn. There was also another celebration around this time of the year in the ancient Roman Empire. Mithraism worshiped a Sun deity (Mithras), and his key celebration was on December 25th, an observance called the "Nativity."

It's obvious that Christ was simply late to the party.

Christmas has beeen commercialised to a point where its not really about Jesus. I am fine with atheists celebrating Christmas as I look at it as more of a time where people spend time together.
