Giving it to yourself is not a crime and nobody will be upset with you, and plus you will be able to give the gift of gold to 10 people per month which I think is a fantastic opportunity for others to experience gold membership.

People just gift to get the badge and others do it to make themselves feel good but others like me gift so that others can enjoy having gold because they deserved it and it is pretty much the only way we can reward people for being fantastic loyal members.

I want to be gifted gold because I deserve it not because I paid for it. I know it takes time to be recognized for helping but when I am it will be great. Would you be willing to act as a 3rd party as well? If so I will send friend request
