People are getting banned off the slim, This is urgent and you MUST do this ASAP.


1. If you just got console banned till 12/31/9999 on your xbox slim, Follow these steps.

Every xbox slim console has a 3 year warranty, i bought mine from Best buy and bought a 2 year extended warranty. So if you were banned, call up microsoft and tell them your slim you just bought is making loud noises and is grinding all your discs to pieces. They will give you some troubleshooting tips, telling you to put in an old game, say you just did and act like you are really doing it. Tell them it cut it into pieces after the troubleshooting. They will ask you where you bought it, (IF YOU BOUGHT FROM BEST BUY THEY WILL HAVE YOU GO THERE.) Now they will tell you to take it to your retailer or tell you to send it in. When this happens, tell then you will take it to the retailer you bought it from and have them fix it. They will mark that down as a note. Go to the store you bought it from, hopefully Best Buy. Tell them its acting up, and destroying all your discs. They will take it in, cause its under warranty, and most likely give you a refurbished one, BUT BEFORE YOU TAKE IT, REMEMBER TO TAKE EVERYTHING OFF THE HARD DRIVE USING USB OR TRANSFER CABLE, AND KEEP IT SAFE ON YOUR COMPUTER! They will give you a refurbished xbox within 3-12 days. Then after you receive it, gladly thank them kindly. Now reload all your old hard drive information on this new xbox Hard drive and your problem is fixed. If you mod just get rid of the modded colored avatar, and lay low on gamertag mods, gamerscore mods, rapid fire controller mods, for at least 2-3 weeks.


If you did this right you will receive your refurbished xbox slim and thank me.

I haven't been banned yet... and I hope to keep it that way but the way to stay unbanned is DONT MOD YOUR AVATAR THEY CAN TRACE IT. Also don't go overboard with mods. Just use common sense and you will be fine also like the person above me said take out your real gamertags off of ttg right now.

my account has just been suspended till 7/30/2010
I called up Xbox and they said that the moderator suspended me due to terms of use violations. Which i clearly did not do.
I asked them if i could be compensated for it and they said maybe

+ReP if you think Microsoft should stop with the "report a player" on xbox live due to the fact that to many innocent people are being falsely accused.
